SpeakForward is an invited, adult-only communication-coaching pilot. Contact: d_raghu9@yahoo.com.
We collect your preferred name and email address for invitation and login, your adult declaration and consent record, selected learning goals and preferences, typed practice responses, structured learning observations, feedback, progress, support requests and minimum audit records.
We use it only to operate the invited pilot, provide coaching, show progress, protect the service, respond to support requests and improve the pilot through approved review.
We do not ask for payment or banking information, passwords, authentication codes, identity documents, date of birth, raw audio, or unnecessary sensitive personal information. Do not enter these details into the pilot.
Speech is transcribed privately on the SpeakForward server and raw audio is not retained. When the screen identifies the coach as AI-assisted, the transcript of your current practice response, the practice scenario and the rule-based task assessment are sent to OpenAI through its API to draft more natural feedback. We do not send your name, email address, login credential or raw audio. Responses containing detected direct identifiers or prohibited information use the local rule-based coach instead.
Structured learning records and logs are retained for up to three months from creation. Generated AI feedback is displayed but is not saved in SpeakForward learning records. API requests use store: false. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the customer opts in, but standard API abuse-monitoring logs may retain prompt and response content for up to 30 days unless approved data-retention controls apply. Processing may occur outside New Zealand. We do not sell personal information.
You may withdraw from the pilot, ask for access to your information, request correction or deletion, or make a complaint by emailing d_raghu9@yahoo.com. Withdrawal stops future coaching. We will explain any limited record that must be retained for a lawful or security purpose.
SpeakForward is an AI-assisted coaching pilot. It is not emergency, medical, legal, immigration, financial or employment advice. If you share a safety concern, the system may display help information and alert the pilot administrator, but it does not provide emergency monitoring.
